Founded in the spring of 2010, the Clover Market is a seasonal open-air market featuring 100+ vendors with antiques & collectibles, vintage jewelry & clothing, finely crafted handmade items, and original art.  It operates in the spring and fall (dates below) and in January at the historic 23rd Street Armory in Philly.  Clover has been named a Best Vintage Market by Flea Market Style Magazine, a "Must See Outdoor Market" (just one of four in the northeast) by Vintage Style Magazine, Best Outdoor Shopping Venue by Main Line Today Magazine and featured in Daily Candy, Philadelphia Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, CityPaper, uwishunu.com and many more.  You can read more about Market founder Janet Long here, view vendor images from prior Markets from Carrie Hill Photography by selecting "Photos" at the top of the page or take a peek at our Market video to get a feel for what Clover is all about.

WHERE ARE THE MARKETS LOCATED?
The Markets are held outdoors in the spring and fall in Bryn Mawr PA (NEW as of spring 2015) & Chestnut Hill PA and in January indoors at the 23rd St. Armory in Philadelphia. Please note the new location in Bryn Mawr is on N. Bryn Mawr Ave between Morris Ave and W. Lancaster Ave - you can use the Bryn Mawr train station address of 77 Morris Ave. for directions.  The location in Chestnut Hill remains in the parking lot at 25 W. Highland Ave and along both sides of W. Highland Ave from the parking lot to Germantown Ave.)

For Chestnut Hill, use any Center City Station (Market East, Suburban or 30th Street Station) and take the Chestnut Hill East or Chestnut Hill West line to the last stop.  For the Armory location, the Market is a short walk from 30th Street Station.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
The Market is open from 10 am - 5 pm, rain or shine.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
IN BRYN MAWR:
There are many options for parking in Bryn Mawr, and all parking is FREE on Sundays. Closest is the Station Lot that the Market surrounds at 7 N. Bryn Mawr Ave.  This lot is directly across the street from the Bryn Mawr (Ludington) Library and is also used for the Farmers' Market.  There is also overflow customer parking at the Aqua PA corporate headquarters (762 W. Lancaster Ave), and at Bryn Mawr Trust lot at 26 S. Bryn Mawr ave - both of these lots are one block from the Market. The Bryn Mawr Hospital "C" lot off Summit Grove Ave and the Central Lot which can also be accessed from Summit Grove Ave.  There is also street parking, and parking in the other Twp. lots throughout downtown.

IN CHESTNUT HILL:
There are many options for parking in Chestnut Hill including several nearby parking lots (indicated with a "P") and street parking:
*PLEASE be courteous to all of our nearby neighbors and do not block residential or business driveways or park in dedicated (reserved) business lots.*

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
The Clover Market will go on rain or shine.  We will ONLY cancel in conditions which are truly severe and/or life threatening to our sellers and patrons.  In that case we will post a message to the website, Facebook page, and Twitter by 8 AM Sunday morning. Please always check there first before heading out if the weather looks "iffy".

IS THERE FOOD AT THE MARKET?
Yes, we do have food onsite at the Markets from local businesses and food trucks (Chestnut Hill).  You can also explore the many nearby businesses with sit down food options as well.   The food vendors are located in the parking lot behind Rittenhouse Electric, just off Cricket Terrace (for Ardmore) and in the parking lot at O'Reilly and Associates, just off Highland Ave (for Chestnut Hill).

ARE THERE OTHER PLACES TO SHOP NEARBY?
Yes, this is one of the primary reasons the Markets are located where they are!  The Bryn Mawr Business Association and the Chestnut Hill Business Association's websites both provide complete list of shopping and dining options in these walkable towns. We hope you'll take the time to walk through both charming downtowns before or after your visit!

ARE THERE ATM'S NEARBY?
As you'd expect, our sellers mostly prefer cash for your purchases, although many accept credit card payments with portable card readers.  If you need to replenish your cash, there are ATM's at the Bryn Mawr Trust and Wells Fargo banks which are right on N. Bryn Mawr Ave (our Market location).  For the Chestnut Hill Market, there is an ATM right at the Valley Green Bank at 23 West Highland Avenue.

ARE THERE BATHROOMS ONSITE?
We do have portable toilets onsite at the outdoor Markets or you can stop by any of the nearby restaurants in both downtown locations for a bite to eat, a coffee, and use of the bathrooms.  The portable toilets are in the main parking lot in Chesnut Hill and will be located shortly for Bryn Mawr (TBD).

ARE THERE THINGS FOR MY KIDS TO DO?
Yes!  We always have a free kids' craft and facepainting to keep the little ones happy.  You might also try having your kids do a scavenger hunt (e.g. make a list of 10 items they might find at Clover and think of a small reward) to keep them engaged as you shop.

ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
We love having four legged friends visit us at Clover in our outdoor locations only (sorry...dogs are not allowed at the Armory).  Please feel free to bring your well-behaved, leashed dogs to enjoy the Market.  The Market can get crowded and somewhat overstimulating (kids! noise! other dogs! lots of stuff!), so if your dog more reserved it might not be the best outing.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE AS A SELLER?
The Market accepts applications from sellers with the following items:

-Antiques and collectibles
-Original art and photography
-High quality artisan crafts and handmade
-New handmade jewelry
-Up-cycled items and architectural salvage
-Vintage clothing
-Vintage jewelry

If you are interested in participating, head over to the "Apply" section for details and a link to the online application.   New applications are reviewed each season, even for prior sellers, and application details are contained in the Apply section.

IS THE MARKET JURIED?
Yes.  All applicants must submit an online application with photos of their work. Sellers are carefully selected based on product quality, fit with the aesthetic or "look" of the Market, and the overall mix of sellers each season.
